To receive, consider and make decisions in relation to correspondence on topics that cannot be dealt with by officers as operational matters.
Please note: any emails or letters that have already been circulated to members will not be included unless a decision is needed that cannot be dealt with outside of Full Council or a committee. Correspondence attached will only relate to matters in which the Council has a Statutory or legal basis to consider and where a committee doesnt already hold the responsibility for considering/handling such matters.

- This item allows Cornwall Councillors in Newquay to report on updates to live issues or matters of concern and for members of the Town Council to ask questions on those matters reported on.

It was proposed by Cllr M North, seconded by Cllr J Taylor and
RESOLVED unanimously to confirm members are asked to note the content of Section 3, Future Projects and Considerations for Committee, and recommend to Full Council the release of £3,000 from the Events and Communications Fund EMR to meet additional security costs. This funding will help ensure the safe delivery of events and support the ongoing safety and wellbeing of residents, visitors and event attendees.Attachment

To receive written reports from members who sit on outside bodies as well as formal motions received by the Proper Officer, in line with Standing Order 9B, from members in relation to Newquay Town Council matters.
Discussions under this item are for information only unless the motion is specifically listed on the agenda for a decision and have been correctly notified in accordance with standing orders ahead of the meeting.
Any concerns being raised or requests for information should be communicated to the Chief Executive as soon as possible and in good time before the meeting, to ensure they have been afforded the time to look into the matter. Failure to do this is likely to result in the Chief Executive noting the matter and responding at a later date via email or at a future Council or committee meeting as appropriate._
